i think he is saying communication, no matter what context, is the most important part of a relationship. The song could apply to religion, basic human interaction, love, society, and so on...but I think the main point is that communication, both speaking and listening (like in the video where the 2 weird looking people things, one without ears, and one without a mouth, come together they create a whole weird looking person thing), are important in any kind of relationship. |

i think there is a little bit of feeling lonely, in this song, and also some anger, and bitterness, but I don't think it is necessarily about those feelings. i think it's about drifting away from who you really are, and becoming something you didn't expect, or want to become. |
