Yea, the solo is good, but i hate to sound like an asshole. This sight is mostly about the lyrics. I wish more people would comment on more then just the lyrics, cause some times the music in the background influences the way we procive must, and the feeling the artist had, or wanted to feel. |

Not that this has anything to do with the song, but it is kinda wierd. My friend brought up the point about Rosetta Stoned referrencing Area 51 and I looked into it. Rumor has it that the tapes on the alien autopsies where named the Magdalena Tapes. Kinda of wierd, right?
Now wiether those tapes exist or not is a different story, and i allow you to look into it. |

this is the song that appears at 6:28 of The autumn effect. its a good song, because of the way it plays. it still has that dreamy effect that the autumn effect has, but a different meaning. |

i think thats Billy's voice at the end scream "Fuck your god", since it sounds the same as in Mer de Noms. i heard that maynard didnt want to say that, so he says "Thank your god" on the edited version of Mer de Noms (the Circle on the front isnt foiled, while the unedited verson is). it would make sense since most Tool songs, and a couple of APC songs reference to God in some way.
I like the orginal better, but then again, that was the song that got me into APC in the first place, and then APC lead to Tool, even though i like Tool better. |

This song has a mix of meanings to it, one could be seen as the schism in the church, because that is the most famous one that people know about, but it could also be seen as losing touch with a person that you know so well. the part about brothers may be about the church, since church heads are known as fathers.
the part about lovers could represent the distance from maynard and some one in his life, either dying or he is losing touch with them. the part where the pieces fit could also point to this, because it seems like a puzzle, which could be about the love of two people isnt as it seems, there are pieces that fit into one another that wouldnt fit any where else. |

This song is not about fisting, cause it makes no sense. i think the song is more of a love/hurt song, because MJK is always making references such as: "Show me that you love me and that we belong together" and "'til you will not want me any other way".
I think MJK wrote this song when he was hurt by some one, or something (like the record company, Tickes and leeches). since the parts i said above and "Relax, turn around and take my hand." are the clearest lyrics in the song, it would make sence that he is trying to reach out to someone.
it would seem that he is also trying to reach out to people who feel the same way about being hurt and are constantly being hurt. ("Something has to change/Undeniable dilemma/Boredom's not a burden/Anyone should bear" and " can help you change/Tired moments into pleasure/Say the word and we'll be/Well upon our way")
otherwise it is an amazing song. one of my favorites
PS: You cant really lead to the conclusion that the video is about drugs, but its been a while since i seen it. i remember the woman's arm falling off, and the part were the lump falls of the guy. it would seem that the smoke could represent something else. |

One of the best 13 minutes of music you can ever hear, or will ever hear for that minute. it is a good song to relax to. the way the song builds up to this loud riff and then gets voilently silent (ironic i know) is amazing. the two quotes in the beginning are perfect match for this song, because it seem like maynard is on something when he wrote this song. i want to see them preform this song live on their new tour.
Billy Hicks seems to be like George Carlin, in my opinion, both tell the truth the way it is, and they "Think". they break away from the mold the government says is proper and still break away from the mold people call moral. |

This is an amazing track, and i knew by listening to this one track that it would be a good cd. this song is like Stinkfist off of Aenima. its a good start to an even better cd. No other way.
This song reminds me of the Billy Huck (i think that was his name) segment at the beginning of Third Eye. its seems that all the bad things in the news seem to thrill us more than the good things, and that we are scared to say so.
Personally i know i watch more of the "horror" stories in the news than i do the "joyful" ones. |

this was a good song on the halo2 soundtrack, but i think it has nothing to do with game.
i think that the song has to do with the lead singer being behind someone, like a girlfriend or a friend, maybe family. Or maybe its to a friend that has help him out. |

this song is about the wizard of oz, no matter how you ttry to put it. my idea, this song could be writen after the guys watched the movie. but if any1 read the book, its like alice in wonder land, its all word play, so maybe the lyrics could be "playing" around a different idea than the obvious. |

flower of life, when i think of blue, i think of calmness, and stillness, maybe a bit of sadness, depending on the shade. since blue is a general color, incorparating many shades, this song could symballize a long calming end. almost as if the world will end because everyone is in an "ether" high, and just "perish" due to your buzz wearing off. |

Does any1 listen to the end of the song. he saying something like open my eyes or something. i don't know if its right, i could be wrong, but it seems kinda s odd that theres over a minute of silence and then theres words. its around 1:58 on the track |
