The literal meaning is pretty obvious, but I think he's kind of singing it tongue in cheek, and trying to say that if only everyone would try a little harder we'd all be better off, but even he can't escape apathy. "I'm on strike against all this laziness" Supposed to be funny in my opinion, going on strike against laziness. "I'm not saying I'm better than them I don't have the kind of time to spend With slacker types trying to be my friend" Basically, we all hate our boring jobs, and all that nonsense, and then we all complain when other people don't go the extra mile for US. He wishes everyone would try harder: "I'd prefer if the world was on speed" Just a little bit extra I picked up aside from the obvious meaning. |

| This song is about the meaninglessness of adulthood in my opinion. There's a lot of references to pop cult and even some alternative stuff (sweatin' to the oldies) that probably occured when they were adolescents. The pac-man dialogue, albeit awkward and funny, seams to be symbolizing adolescents. Pac-man has a high voice and offers them drugs, naturally they're adults and responsible and refuse so he calls them pussies. | |

| I think this song is about ozone depletion. It was most likely written when this was more of a hot issue. He had this vision when looking into the sun which is how we discovered this problem. The fact that he says we got no atmosphere seams like the best indicator of this meaning. We got to think quick because this could become a serious problem. As for blind st. nick this could mean many things. St. Nick is known most famously for giving gifts, but also for saving people. The blind part could be interpreted many ways as well. | |
