first off- LOVE this song...especially the end (like most people) but i had a question about these lies: i stood proud in the gallery with my open socket of a mouth for them to see they all just laughed and said "that boy he, that boy's got woe, woe he lives with woe, woe" --do ya think that his description of his mouth may be reaffering to him in Woe, almost liek total disbelief of something? i meen his jaw i guess is dropped and instead of the people saying hes in utter disbelief, hes got "woe"? sorry, i was listening to this when i was high, causing me to think farrr tooo deep. |

ahhh amazing songgg. My ex and i had a conversation about this song. he seems to think it has religous roots. "They rolled the stones away and let everyone come right in and say hello to me. They picked me up and held me there and smiled at my crumpled wings." this would be a refferance to Jesus's death (if you know anything about the bible i shouldnt have to explain) "And when you go to sleep at night, don't you ever feel the weight of all the things that make you happy; that float around you, pull you down?" this he thought was reffering to Money,sex, drugs...whatever your vice is that is gonna hold you down from total happiness in heaven. I dunno, im not overly religious but i thought he had really good points. |
