We read a story in English class, which immediately reminded me of this song. http://eserver.org/fiction/araby.html (that's the story) It's about someone who falls deeply in love with someone they've never actually had a conversation with, and when he finally does have a conversation with her...he thinks she's definitely in love with her. Until he sees how other people interact with each other, and realizes that it was all in his head, and that the girl didn't really love him, and that it was all in his head :P. Now, if you want to look more into the song, rather than the shallow meaning, it could definitely be about someone who was in a relationship and realized it was going nowhere. But I like my definition better so HA! *violently sticks tongue out* |

This song is about a person that feels like they've been working on their relationship throughout their entire waking life (7 to 11), and feel like they've had enough, and want to call it quits. The best version of this song can be found in the DVD The Song Remains The Same. :D This is one of my favorite songs EVER. :D :D :D It's just purely AMAZING! Ah! |
