Ever since I started indulging in listening to the faint an infatuation has grown like an incurable disease. It seems no matter how much I continue to listen I must be fed my daily dose or else I feel incapable of carrying out everyday functions. Most likely you will quickly label this absurdity but one of my favorite portions of the faint is the fact that they use voice synthesizers to make their vocals sound monotonous. Whenever I hear this images of automatonic moving mechanisms automatically fill my mind. If you enjoy the faint than I highly recommend checking out Joels solo project{Joel is the faints bassist}His band which is ironically also from Saddle Creek is called Broken Spindles and he also uses synthesizers to produce new innovative electronical melodies. |

I am aware that it does not take an analytically inclined and observant individual to notice that the majority of websites cannot feature Broken Spindles lyrics. I assume the reason being is because Joel would not want people seeing his abnormal thought process that is of course taking into consideration this is a solo project -- Joel works solely by himself producing lyrics, doing vocals and playing synthesizers. What makes me slightly disgruntled is the fact that many critics reviews degrade "Inside/Absent & Fullfilled/Complete" Stating that much of it is "darkness & misery" but for some absurd reason beyond my knowledge I find this enticing, entertaining and utterly amazing. Bottom line is purchase both of these albums if the chance arises! |
