Brilliant, I bet there are people out there who dont realise the heavy sarcasm in this, and can relate to it, sad, sad people. |

perhaps the line "a raging wave of light vaporized all this life" is refering to a car's light before it hits the person, which would be in keeping with what squidder said. I duno, I just like this song, this album is so great. I really wonder why there was absoluty NO advertising in the UK, very anoying. |

i love this song, abi should sing more. love how its writen from the view point of two people. They are so amazingly imaginative and different, not sure what the song means tho, about someone who really likes this other person and whants tog et to know them so they kinda stalk them not wanting the person to know incase they arent as good as they hoped or dont like them. reminds me of my one friend |

great album, love their music. its about 'teenage mentality' well thast what i think in any case, just hanging around, not doind anything in perticular, and how this time should be enjoyed and stuff not wasted cos one day they'll regret it, or something on those lines |

wow people really dont like them! ok they definatly arent one of my fav bands out there, not even close but cut them some slack i mean come on they are probably told what to say, wear, how to look etc etc and at least they can sing an play their intruments, unlike other people like umm jesica simpson, girls aloud, and most r'n'b artists hu rely on thier bodies to make them rich, im not saying their music is good, or amzing or even that they are talented but i dont think they are that bad, and yeah they are probs posers, but i dont think they realise it - poor them just think they have no idea about the humiliation they are putting them selves through |

wow never really thought of the song like that (as in suicide) but never the less i love this song tis my fav from the second disc. hey heres a theory or thought or question or whatever, what if the line 'always was a lucky one' is sarcastic and acctually meant to be more like 'i always get the raw deal' type thing? |

well i just love this song, tho i have to say if its just a spoof then i definatly feel blond atm cos well i didnt think so, but r u guys sure how do you know, well anyway definatly one of my favs - great to sing to. and stop complaining that you didnt get this song on the american album cos you guys get alot of much better songs on ur albums than we do here - which i think is unfair they should keep the songs the same on all the albums - just have them all on but i supose theres a reason that they do it. |

as ive said in a previous post on FF (who rule btw!!!) ive given up hope of trying to make sense of their lyrics, i mean if they cant either (everytime they give different emanings to the songs) then how on earth can we. but concerning the line 'hanging from a beam behind the door of number 10' i have no idea if this is at all relevant but in england people always refer to were tony blair lives as 'number 10' - as in 10 downing street. any thoughts? |

well personally I think that like so many of their other lyrics theres no use in trying to figure out what they mean cos they dont acctually mean anything specifc. But who cares their lyrics are so imagaintive and unique and cleaver (although they dont amke sense most of the time) and the melody and guitaring etc is just amazing!!!!! |
