Encouraging the use of Es? Idiot.. This is not about taking Es, it's a typical love song. Just because an artist says one word in a song such as ecstasy or protection (in Jordin Sparks: Tattoo) people assume stupid meanings. I personally didn't like this song at first and i still don't love the electro side of it but it has grown on me. Should stick to his usual sound IMO. |

I think it's more toward the 'broke up and miss each other' side as Jordin says: 'losing you is like living in a world with no air' and CB says: 'Wish there was a way I can make you understand' - understand why he left. He left her but she can't live without him and neither can he. I guess if you missed out some lyrics it could apply to couples or if you just repeat the chorus over and over!! Love the song. |

I'm downloading her version atm and so far so bad xD Beyonce sings this way better (obviously) but they're VERY similar. Anyway the song is pretty self explanitary. | We had a discussion about this song and video in Media Studies class and we all agreed she was saying that girls like Jessica Simpson & Paris Hilton were stupid and that she wants girls to be more ambitious and different, like her. But then it turned to "well isn't she being hypocritical? isn't she one of the so called 'stupid girls?" and the teacher said yes she is and i strongly disagree. He said that she was saying these girls (Jessica Simpson) go around with near to nothing on and that this makes her stupid but that Pink does the exact same throughout the video. The reason is that she is showing what stupid girls are like not to say 'hey look at my body'. He also brought up the fact that she used to be a stupid girl herself. He showed us magazine pictures she'd done for a male magazine and i do agree she used to be more like Jessica Simpson and the like. But i respect Pink a lot, she is not like them. She writes about her own experiences and her beliefs and that's alot more than Jessica Simpson does. Pink isn't a stupid girl. | |

I've heard people say that the lyrics to this song are too vague and aren't really saying anything. It's a song, not a speach, she can't go into great detail about everything she says. I love how Pink sings about her own experiences and shares them with people that may have had the same experience. She also sings about her beliefs and that is rare in the rock/pop genre. I love Pink!! This song speaks to those who have felt how she describes her life at 13 and it's letting them know that she knows how they feel and that it'll be ok in the end. |

I like the song but the 'i dont wanna be..a murderer' line annoys me. Yeah i get 'cause she's cheatin' she's killin' him but saying 'murderer' just don't fit to me. Also, it would be even better if someone else sang this song. Someone with a stronger voice 'cause Rihanna's is too weak. She's sorta screaching in this song and that puts me off. Don't think people should come out with lame ass comments like 'what a bitch' & 'leave that hoe!' because its just a song!! To some people it will seem like she thinks shes the best and that by doing this to him she's 'murdering' him, like she's the most important thing in the world and nobody could get over her. Anyways, like the song but dislike her voice! X |
