The Smashing Pumpkins – Bleeding the Orchid Lyrics 18 years ago
I agree with dougy, but I also think part of it is an inverse of that too, as in the fans in the band's heart:

"Do you miss where you were?
They shall seal your shout."
-As in, Billy missed being in his band, and the cheers and love from his fans "sealed his shout" to get the band back together.

"Guilty of this silent march,
There's triumph through love
So they’ll shout,
And all this will go on."
-The silent march could refer to his solo album, and the triumph through love could mean the triumphant return to rock as the Smashing Pumpkins. "So they'll shout/And all this will go on" once again refers to the cheers from the fans, and the Pumpkins will once again go on.

"We’ll have some trust,
We’ll have some youth."
-The trust is from their diehard fans who have been waiting for the reunited band to be back. The youth -- perhaps Ginger and Jeff, the new, young members of the band?

That's what I think of it so far.

This is hands down Kenny Chesney's best song and it's not even close. Beautiful lyrics.

Rascal Flatts – These Days Lyrics 19 years ago
I know this song will be playing a lot for me once this semester ends and the girl I'm with goes back home to Texas and I go back home to Illinois. It'll be a long three months.

" wake up and teardrops, they fall down like rain.
I put on that old song we danced to
and then, I head off to my job
cause not much has changed.
Punch the clock, head for home,
check the phone just in case,
go to bed, dream of you,
that's what I'm doin these days..."

Amazing.

The Smashing Pumpkins – Tonight Reprise Lyrics 20 years ago
It's a great reprise of a great song. I love that it opens with the lines

"And the embers never fade in my city by the lake
The place where i was born"

Makes me think a lot about home (Chicago of course), while I'm out-of-state away at college.

The Smashing Pumpkins – Glass + the Ghost Children Lyrics 20 years ago
Definitely a creepy song. The live version of this from their second to last show at the United Center is incredible. It's about a girl dealing with drug problems, and ties in with that whole story thing Billy made up.

Jay-Z – A Dream Lyrics 20 years ago
One of my favorite Jigga songs. The B.I.G. verse sample from Juicy is excellent, and the a capella version at the end is great.
