"Haide vaksa haide de Triabva pak da se iade Haide vaksa haide de Triabva pak da se iade" --This part of the song is what a man who shines shoes would say. He urges people to shoeshine because he needs the money - "triabva pak da se iade" loosely translates as "we still have to eat something" I don't know if any of this made sense to you. Sorry for my bad English. The rest of the lyrics are quotes from Bulgarian patriotic songs, even from the Bulgarian national hymn. |

LOL *Suncho* is the cartoon character. When I was a kid every night at 7:50 came a tv show for kids (e.g. Bananas In Pyjamas and stuff like that). The TV programme was called "Leka nosht, detsa" ("Good Night, Kids") and before the tv show there was a short cartoon with Suncho singing a lullaby. The name 'Suncho' comes from the Bulgarian 'sun' which means a sleep, a dream. I think it has nothing to do with 'True Mathematics'. *Sluncho* is a poetical impersonification of the sun (the English 'sun' in Bulgarian is 'sluntse'). Sorry for my bad English |

I'm Bulgarian and you should know the lyrics make nonsense. They are simply random quotes and references to other songs. Anyway, I copy pasted this translation from the ladytron.com forum (I'm too lazy to translate it myself): You are paradise on Earth And Danube is babbling cheerfully Quiet white Danube is agitated, babbling cheerfully There! Simeon arrives with his troops Come on, shoe-shine, oh, come on Have to eat again Come on, shoe-shine, oh, come on Have to eat again And Simeon is calling his voivodes My precious Motherland You are paradise on Earth With high blue mountains, Rivers and broad valleys is babbling cheerfully,is babbling cheerfully There! Simeon arrives with his troops is babbling cheerfully,is babbling cheerfully And Simeon is calling his voivodes High blue mountains, And you are my precious Motherland, You are paradise on Earth x2 And you babble cheerfully x2 Quiet white Danube is agitated And Radetski is sailing. And Simeon is calling his voivodes is babbling cheerfully,is babbling cheerfully High blue mountains Rivers and broad valleys Wherever you are, You are paradise on Earth With high blue mountains. |
