Jon might be talking about someone more personal to him, but I can relate. The feeling of being alone. Everyone leaves eventually. I have some really close friends that I may never see again and even before they leave, I can't help but cry. I try to keep them as close as I can so they don't want to leave either. It's impossible to find someone to fill their spots, so you sink to the bottom thinking you could never have anyone else. I guess the mirror being hard to hold is his friend or girlfriend's help finding himself or his purpose, but now that she's gone it's difficult to tell. |
