I think this song is about a dead man's first steps into hell, mirroring the same journey that Satan took. "Take you down now Burn it all out Throw you all around Get your fuckin' HANDS OFF ME" He's being drug into the depths of hell. "What's it feel like? Took the wrong route Watch it fall apart Now you're knockin' AT THE WRONG GATE" Satan is taunting him for where he has ended up (in Hell) "Shame to find out when it's too late But you're all the same Trapped inside INFERNO AWAITS" The dead guy realizes exactly what awaits him. "Evil thoughts can hide I'll help release the mind I'll peel away the skin Release the dark WITHIN" And then Satan offers to take away the pain, in exchange for the man's soul. This is a brutal fucking song, IMHO. |
