I think this song is about a girl cheating on him. He knows that she wasn't crazy for doing it, she had her own reasons and he doesn't need an apology from her, but in the same vein, he won't forgive or apologize for hiis reaction to it. The last line is interesting because, even though she has done this to him, he would follow her to the end of the earth, even to hell. |

This song IS about Jack the Ripper taking girls into alleys. For me, this song is about the casualty of falling in love. Part of you, your singularity, is killed by the connection to that other person. There is no guarentee in love. I think it's just saying take a chance on love. It might kill you, but it's worth the risk. "Follow me into the alleyway" is saying follow me into the unknown. I don't get, I'll even follow him. It almost makes me think of the movie, Closer. They know they are wrong for going behind the guy's back to follow love, but it is a risk they are willing to take. |

| I think this song is about just being with the on you love...even if no one talks; they just enjoy being with each other. This song reminds me of hanging out with this girl I like and we just sat in her room and listened to music until 4:30 in the morning. She would close her eyes and I would just look at her breathing and listening to the music. This song came on and it was both of our favorate song. So we listened to it together and when it ended....she had fallen asleep so I just watched her sleeping until I left. | |
