Another knock at the music industry. It seems like an awfully large number of bands are going money before music, and this is the polar extreme of that. Ever see one of those beggers on the street, belching a classic tune through their toothless mouths to an off-beat viola part? I wrote this song, and I think it's pretty tacky and drawn out, but I do like the central theme. It seems all one has to do to become a celebrated musician now-a-days is study Thursday and Saosin and wait in line with 10,000 other clones. The hell with that. Three chords are all I need to get a point across, and that's the way I like it. Also, this song has 5 chords! |
