This song is actually about a stalker. I recently learnt this. Someone I know is friends with Sonny. And apparently it's about a stalker. |

i am not saying people who think these songs about drugs are wrong; because their theories make a lot of sense. but i wonder if they hadn't have called the album Heroine; would the drug theory come up so much? yes, granted; it's not the spelling of the drug, but it comes with so much negativity attached for that even though it's actually a female hero. you say "i want heroine" and people stare at you like a junkie. people associate the title to drugs, not by spelling but by sound. sorry about the ranting.. |

they scream. then say something. then scream again. i like the drug theory it's good and makes sense. but i think that it's about eating disorders and self harm and body image and getting into nasty habits with friends. cause a lot of anorexics/bulimics/harmers often will get into it and do it together with friends because then they know their not alone and they feel a little better about what they're doing, and it makes it seem "okay". |

definitely rape. i'm hoping it's not being written from the point that they're doing it to someone. i hope it's like metaphorised like they're sister or a friend got raped/molested and they're writing it like as if they're stuck inside the head of the perpertrator. (sp?) |

i agree the songs sound similar. lyrics wise because of them mostly being about sonny being adopted. but the songs sort of sound similar music-wise. i'm so bad with language. |

it was pete's number. and then he changed it and gave out matts number (hence why i have/had it). and then on matt's answering machine he gave out pete's new number. i think they've all changed their numbers though now i haven't tried calling in ages cause i'm from australia so it costs heaps. my friend keeps trying she said it won't go through. i don't know. |

| yeah sonny moore is adopted i agree with sweetcalamityx on this one. in fact most of the album is about that. i really want someone to start a thread for "...and we all have a hell" cuz that song i think is up to interpretation, at this point i'm thinking that "hell" is about rape i'm hoping it's really a big metaphor or something though. | |

these lyrics are REALLY wrong. What would you say, If this blemished face, This blemished face with a crooked nose Had a chance to say Whatever he wanted from his blemished world Of the unknown? And would you give a fuck If all that you heard Were nouns and verbs Like shallow heartache? The sound, of victory, Blowing up your world Fake face everywhere I see, Fake people looking back at me Sit down, don't tell me where I don't belong I heard a sick sad voice, It was honesty, I turned to her and said, We need to be medicated; And you're the prescription, For a forced out vision If you're with me, send the Critics to hell with the sound of our voices Fake faces everwhere I see, Fake people looking back at me Sit down, don't tell me where I don't belong All you better-thans that fed us shit, Will be knocked on the floor, So don't you place your bets just yet All you treasure sleepers feed on shit, You'll be knocked on the floor, So don't you place......... Fake faces everywhere I see, Fake people looking back at me Sit down, don't tell me where I don't belong ^^ THOSE are the lyrics from fftl's myspace. |

whitherdrose: someone typed up and posted an article/interview that was from KERRANG! with sonny moore and he was talking about how that's what the album was about and how he was hurt about being lied to (basically everything i said before). so next time i go into the city i'm gonna go buy the magazine cuz they only sell KERRANG! in the city here in australia which sucks. but yeah that's how i found out. |

if you were wondering why they all seem to be about the same thing/sound similar lyric-wise, it's because sonny wrote most of the songs about finding out he was adopted. he wasn't told till like he was like 17. he said "it hurts to be lied to your whole life, especially by the people you trust the most". hope that provided some helpful insight. |
