I'm fairly certain that the song revolves around one person pulling another into a relationship, that's operating a lot like a drug addiction. They want the other person to need them, they thrive on it, and they know they can manipulate the other into that situation, and keep them there, and the manipulator is almost taking pride of what they're doing. Or it's just about drugs, what song isn't at this point? |

| Well, in an interview on AOTS shortly after this song went viral, Zonday said that of course it was about racial discrimination and strife, but more-so it was whatever it meant to you, however it made you feel is how it was, if that makes any sense. | |
