I love this song. So far I've heard it on: Garden State The OC Prison Break (Honda?) Car Advert It's so nice, didn't realise it was a hymn so thanks! |

| Arctic Monkeys – No Buses Lyrics | 19 years ago |

It's that old saying isn't it - "2 come at once". You're waiting for a bus and you wait ages without one turning up, then all of a sudden, 2 come at once. I don't really understand the chorus though. But i love the part where he sings - "theres nothing like a dirty look from the one you want or the one you lost" |

| The Subways – Young For Eternity Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"now i can leave me work for nights and leave my day for sleeping" now he's in a band, gigging around the world, he plays at night; works at night; uses up his energy at night...whilst during the day, he sleeps. Living the young life! |

Great song! I love how its acoustic, and the whistling at the end! I'm guessing its about nights out that get out of hand, but thats just part of going out and drinking. |

| Arctic Monkeys – Who the Fuck Are Arctic Monkeys? Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I agree with Super Nova, that specific line is in reference to the people who have recently "discovered" AM and think they are ahead of the game when, in fact, there have been steady fans around for a while now! I really like this song, and i still love AM, but i hope they aren't starting to turn on their fans a bit. That last line does make me wonder though.... "I won't mess with your escape, is this really your escape?" Is it suggesting that AM can't tell the fans apart from the followers-of-the-trend? I guess its hard to now. |

| Arctic Monkeys – Leave Before the Lights Come On Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
This song, to me, is about leaving a club before it shuts (ie - the lights coming up). You meet someone in a club and because of the drink and the music and the atmosphere, it feels special, but you want to get out before reality kicks in and you find out that they aren't so special after all. Great tune - i love it! |

| Arctic Monkeys – You Probably Couldn't See for the Lights but You Were Looking Straight at Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |

It's supposedly written about Eva Petersen, of the Little Flames, who they toured with last year. Great song, lyrics are fantastic! |
