| Kings of Leon – The Bucket Lyrics | 18 years ago |
The term, "kick the bucket", comes from the way pigs etc. used to be hung when they had been killed, they would be hung by their legs from a beam, called a buchet, hence they had 'kicked the buchet', and over time that became bucket. Maybe you'll find that interesting... |

| Blur – Song 2 Lyrics | 19 years ago |
It's actually like 2 minutes and one second, but that one second is the silence at the end of the song, so it's irrelevant. The guy who said it was a one hit wonder doesn't know what a one-hit wonder is, the 'tard. |

| Radiohead – The Bends Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| And the Bends is their second album, you crack-head | |
| Radiohead – The Bends Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Dude, the song isn't about shit. It has no meaning. Thom said so himself. "The song 'The Bends' is completely jokey, completely taking the piss. None of that stuff had ever happened to us when we wrote it. That was our Bowie pastiche, our joke song! And I really do wish I'd never written that fucking song - it's become the bane of my life. Hundreds of journalists asking - every single fucking interview "Do you wish it was the sixties?" No, I don't wish it was the fucking sixties, Levis jeans wish it was the sixties, I certainly fucking don't. But hey, if you wanna draw some meaning from it, go ahead. |

| Rage Against the Machine – Sleep Now In The Fire Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Because it mentions the name Jesus does not make the entire song about the Catholic church, especially when there are so many references to American history in the bulk of the song. Dumbass |

| The Smashing Pumpkins – Zero Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The line "I'm in love with my sadness" makes this song for me, it's a fantastic oxymoron, and quite chilling. | |

| Panic! at the Disco – I Write Sins Not Tragedies Lyrics | 19 years ago |
You know dave, these songs are awesome, you just have to be a deep thinker to like them. Thus MEANING you're shallow and these people don't care what you think, so why bother saying something? I bet you like Kelly Clarkson or Gwen Stefani, so have fun with that. is how it SHOULD have gone. Also, this 'Dave' character clearly is not a member of the group of stereotypes you're accusing him of belonging to, as in general the people who like that sort of music which you are referring to are unlikely to comment on this sort of music. He also said "...form a SELECT GROUP of bands that make me..." And someone who only listened to that area of music would be more likely to say somethignalong the lines of "I hate all rock music", if anything. In brief, you're a dumbass. |
| Green Day – Castaway Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The song practically jumps out of the speakers, with such a sexy intro, how can anyone say a bad word to Green Day based on this song? | |
| Queens of the Stone Age – Little Sister Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The lyrics are stupidly wrong. It's not up on the shelf you are my love It's I wanna show you all my love (Which as you can see, fits in much nicer with the next line) And I know someone else has already commented on this, but sloly dancing tree to tree? The FUCK?! It's cheek to cheek. And it does indeed call it a cowbell on the album, even if these people are wrong, and it is a woodblock, or a tempo block, or whatever anyone else thinks it is, I'm sure you can forgive them in their misunderstanding. |
