I haven't actually heard this song but my quick take on the lyrics go this-a-way: Jesus died for fruit he didn't get to taste and it goes unquestioned (assumed) by those who rejoice and revel in his sacrafice (yet rembember now God prefers mercy to/not sacrafice) and even God supposedly declares in his book that according to the verse Jhn 19:11 the greater sin is by the one who handed Jesus over to be lamb based. I guess perhaps God judges himself but (like Bender from the Breakfast Club) asking about your own father is kind of taboo with him? I don't have a problem with Jesus but I guess maybe he didn't know what forbidden fruit tasted like. Type-rambling... Oh, wait! The point of this being an APC song could be along the lines of hypocrisy and dark humor or maybe true empathy and compassion yeah type- rambling... |

What this song conveys to me; A being obsessed and bent on domination over another entity and failing miserbly. Being is wired differently than entity and so communication is trite at best and being is acting like a snot nosed heathen throwing down judgemental accusations like they mean something. And they do because entity feels superbly depressed in part relating to being's power and control issues. "drama queen" is just a dig I mean come on non-belligerence? If being understood/stands what might motivate entity in the first place (because it surely isn't decadence or fame) then being might calm it's own drama down a notch! If being is this darn upset about it's poor communication skills it should work on them. This singing is very hostile while carrying a legitimate concern...gee he really needs to just sit down and talk to precious already...? Precious this, precious that *nose to the higher air* |
