The line 'blue-green colors flashing' is interesting. I think it refers to the sky and the lush landscape that usually surrounds a spring. The surface of water is like a mirror, so these colors would be reflected. |

the song starts out with a very deliberate dissonant piano intro that I believe is supposed to convey that something is not right. the hospital is rehab and the green green leaves falling from the trees are the young people who die in the prime of their lives do to drugs. the rest of the song is the voices arguing inside the head of the person. |
