i think this is probably the best throughout the whole album. with davey singing using his soft mellow voice the melodies stick in your head more. and thats not forgetting the end with the organ. that right just screams out amazing. it leaves you with a very haunting feeling as davey sings and from what i think, jade coming in to do backup with him. those 2 are amazing singers and its things like that which make afi stand out above the rest. theyre able to make you feel so much from them, whether it be rage or hate or dissapointment or sadness. its beautiful. |

for me, i think this song is about a tradegy that wasn't to be. a boy and girl fall into love until doubt and confusion enters the boy's mind. then he lashes out at the one person who he shouldnt, the girl he loves. eventually, she becomes broken and cant beleive what shes been put through but she still gives him chances to start over again and change. but all he does is mess up and mess up and eventually, its over between him and her. whats even worse, is that when shes gone from him, he realizes what he should have done and that in the end, hes left alone without the girl he loves the most and all that remains, is him with pictures of her. |

i think this song is probably the best not only because it sounds so good but because the song has this way to make you feel the emotions the singers are feelings. adam is able to make you feel the passion and the pain he is feeling and combined with the strings and what not, theres this sense of urgency and drive to get what he wants and it makes you want to see if he truly does get what he wants in the end. |

for me, i think this song has to be one of the best they've ever made. even though it isnt as heavy as their other stuff, it goes to show that atreyu can make awesome songs that don't require a heavy or hard beat. alex can sing as well as scream and it shows more in this song then on the others. i think with the choir and whatnot in the intro, it helps make the song that much more awesome. it kinda reminds me of that scene in edward scissorhands when the girl is dancing while edward is making the angel out that big piece of snow with the whole scene all slow and stuff. amazing. |
