"In addition, the annoying and repetative guitar makes me feel as though the story will remain "unwritten" until someone does something mercifully violent to end the tragedy..." i believe the repetitiveness is an over-emphasis to the listener and its pretty good to understand. there are just some specific lines that i clearly dont understand or get her point . " Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open " is she trying to be open-minded in particular situations. how can she speak about her views and thoughts? "I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way" now i just want to get her consciouslly ...if shes being totally different and living independently ....or obedient but is over the influence? hmm alot of questions .. |

hehe Van Hunt this is quite a interesting . i think he mentions in this song that . He has been in some tough times through "episodes of hiding under the world. " depression sadness ...etc. ....he mentions about the rays of merciful hope .... i guess can be easily distinguished as girls he falls in loves with . And so he explains that as though the girl can save him ....he doesnt want to take the risk for the girl to fall in the deep pit that hes going through ....guessing he needs a STRONG woman to save him . lol ....so im guessing he realises that from girls perspectives...."Hes Dust Blown away over the edge " .... meaning hes taking the relationship too much for the girl can handle " .. ....wow ....talk about the princess saving the prince. |

| it just shows that God is out there.....i mean God can be interpretad in alot of different ways . just when i was trying to find an inspiration to write words based on social segregation and minorities and all these negative views in society consdering that im a minority myself .....i skimmed through my songs.....and just clicked on this unexpectedly ...coincidence...it just shows how God can work in mysterious ways .......soon to be one of my favorite songs . | |
