Okay, I like Pennywise, don't get me wrong... I'm also a fan of most Punk... But i just can't agree with them.. Fuck Authority? Without it America would be a total wasteland. I'm tired of hearing all these Teenaged "Punks" saying "America is evil!" Sure, every government has its flaws, but when has there been a perfect government? I'd like to give these guys a reality check and send them to someplace that doesn't have a government, or maybe even a place with a dictator where they have practically no freedoms at all. It some countries this song wouldn't even be released, considered "heresy." Jus please don't take our government for granted. |

seems to me this song is about someone whose parents control every aspect of their life. Finally one day he realizes what's been going on and "breaks away" |

here's another idea... It may be the young adolescent's conciousness telling htem the right thing ot do and they break it and the mother is dead."best keep your pants on, boy
behind the armor of fault" I'm more than likeley wrong but hey... criticism is the best tool of learing. |

Seems to me like this song is about an adolescent that is flirting and i guess this is coming from her parents saying, "best keep your stiched lips startched in a giggle." and it turns out she gets pregnant.. Then when abortion was illegal, she used a coathanger to try and perform surgery on herself to create a "makeshift trigger" and ended up killing herself and her unborn child. |

Seems to me that this song is about a POW camp planning to "break out." "shackled the grapple and the sentinels found binoculars watch cardboard towns" explains itself. "Small Rationing" And for some reason the second part of the song reminds me of some people coming up with a plan to escape, "sanction this outbreak; a virus conspires
push becomes shove." but hey, i'm just interpreting this song the way i see it. |
