"This song should be a #1 hit threetimes over. Bad managers or something." I kinda laughed out loud when I read this quote. GBV was a lot more than making it big. And then I got to thinking, what if they actually had made it big with this song, and then there was a huge backlash when someone started playing goldheart mountaintop on the radio because everyone thought HOH was their typical sound.

Yeah, every song does not have to be interpreted as a reference to a relationship. I think it's just about the ups and downs of life and how some people hit some pretty big lows I think the positive tone offers a nice contrast to the rest of the album This song was more or less on repeat for a month or two after a really bad acid trip
