I think this sums it up the best way. It's an incredible piece, seriously powerful. I think what I like how much about is how it runs the gambit from opening with sadness and self-loathing, self-deprecating sentiments, and gradually turns from that into anger and and impatience as it becomes apparent that the other party seems to be unwilling or unable -- or both -- to move on, whether that's with or without the author. And it finally settles into understanding-- understanding that the other person only indecisive because of the pain caused by the author, and conflicted feelings present. And also, understanding of how much the author truly cares about the other person, and how much pain the author is willing to endure to make sure the other person is ultimately the one who is served best. |

i definitely believe this one, i for sure get a substance abuse vibe from this song, if that makes any sense. especially the "stay off the street/wake up a king" line (i know, paraphrased) |

I can't pin down one thing in this song, all I can tell is that he's a lyrical genious. My favorite verse undoubtedly is the second half-verse (i like the night...). The chorus seems really personal, as does the song at times, but it's hard to tell what it's about. I just like the lyrics in general. |
