k, about the opera part, it's french. the first Dome Epais, literally means "Thick Dome". but this likely translates to maybe something like "Thick Skull" implying someone is stupid. the second bit "La Blanc Jasmine" translates literally to "The White Jasmine" so this is probably symbolic of this Jasmine character in the Opera. finally "La Rose S'Assemble" would be the rose puts it's self togeter. This is probably a metaphore relating to the opera. So, what did we learn. this opera has nothing to do with the song. but it sounds f-ing sweet, so i don't care.

I was at the Ben Harper concert in Toronto last night, and this was his closing song. I loved the song before, but the album version is nothing compared to it live, he way laying down on stage screaming into the mic, it was unbelievable. If you get a chance to see him live do it, best concert of my life. Ben Harper is the greatest musician out there today.

I was at the toronto concert last night too, it was so good. He basically said the same thing from the Pittsburgh show, anyways, yeah, absolutly brilliant song. |
