i dont think the video depicts a father and son. it reminds me more of a figurative inner child discourse or perhaps that of an imaginary friend, touching both on childhood and/or mental issues (which can also be a drug.induced state after all) at any rate, a powerful song and even more impacting video. made me think, great job they did there :) |

Lou introduces this song on their live album as follows: "This song is called 'Some Kinda Love', which is a dialogue between a guy called Tom and a woman called Margharita, and he's just trying to drink her like tequila and she doesn't like being salt thrown over her shoulder." haha, a little out of context but yeah. the flames and smoke climbed out of every window and dissappear with everything that you hold dear you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need cause you knew you were finally free this part reminds me of the movie Fight Club. good song. |
