Ripper is a great vocalist, and Glenn & KK & Ian are great musicians, but this song, and the entire album (Written by Glenn) shows how much influence Rob had on the priest songs. Demoltion is an improvement on Jugulator, but compared to the rest of the priest albums, including Angel of Retribution, the songwriting on Demolition and especially Jugulator... well, it's utter crap. Iwas sorry I bought Jugulator, and begrudgingly gave demolition a chance, and would have abandoned the band altogether if Halford hadn't rejoined. |

This song could have been written for the "Sad wings" album. And, yes, the chorus made me think of that. Listening to it, though, I can hear it recorded with the same kind of late 70's sound and it would have fit perfectly on the album. A beutiful tune that builds to a perfect crecendo. Great! |

I really like the story of this song (Watch the Metal works video) how Rob was staying in a room above Gelnn, who, quite late one night, was banging the main riff out continuously and keeping Rob awake. Rob finally came downstairs and said "I've got the perfect lyric for that!" |

This song is a prime example of Priest's diversity in thier songwriting. The band is SOOO under rated when it comes to the songs and lyrice they write. A beutiful song, and a complete 180 from the rest of the "Hell Bent" album. |

Although this a standard rock song, decent lyrics, simple guitar riffs, nothing special. A song that probally took no more than 5 minutes to write, it's still a fave of mine. I remember Jamming this song with my friends on a daily basis. Just a fun song to hear and to play. |

I was absolutely thrilled when I heard this tune. This is solid song. Perhaps a homage to the willingsness of the band to reunite? Who knows. It's just a great tune. A good, solid rock song. 6/5 |

This song is a great example of priest's ability to create wonderfully emotional soundscapes. This song draws me in every time. This song is one of the gems that only real priest fans know about, and where thier respect for priest comes from. Most people don't know anything besides "You've got another thing comin'" and don't look any deeper into priest's music before calling them a crappy band. I think the comercially successful preist tracks are probally the weakest in thier catalogue. Songs like this are what has kept me faithful to the band for 20 years. |

This has long been one of my Favorite priest tunes. Beautifully melodic and harshly emotional with, IMHO, a guitar solo that captures the essence of the song better than any other guitar solo in history. Absolutely brilliant. I have always interpreted this song to be about an old man, perhaps disillusioned with the way the world has become, deciding when it is his time to finally let himself go. |

This song is a direst comment on the court case in the late 80's where Priest was accused of including subliminal messages in the song better by you better than me. A case which they won, and, according the band themselves, this song was written about the case and how they felt about it. They always felt that they were not at fault, and we confident throughout that they would win.
