Well those "oooo"'s are extremely catchy. I like this song :) Purely for the reason that it sounds nice. Althugh I'm not sure that it ends very happily :( Except then they "take off their shoes" and are "ready to walk". Oh those boys.. they talk such crap. |

Yurr. Tom, Danny and Dougie wrote it, Harry had no say in it, but loved it. Apparently they're working on new stuff for a new album out later this year *fingers crossed*. Think (hope) new album might be more similar to the first album, as the other recently written song by them is Just My Luck, which I think sounds like 1st album, but sounds well written like 2nd album (with the extra instruments and all), not that that made a bunch of sense. I love how creepy and addictive this song is, and long live SHAZBOT NANU NANU (at the end). So random! It's how alines on the TV show Mork & Mindy used to say goodbye, although I thought Shazbot was a swear word. I thought that "AC/DC" was written on a hoover, not a sewing machine, but whatever, it doesn't make a world of difference! |

Argh, AC/DCs lyrics aren't meant to have loads of deep insight!They're just simple ass kickin' rock'n'roll! This is a tribute to Bon! End of! No WW2, Vietnam, or whatever - sure, you can think of it that way if you WANT to, but it's staring you right in the face! Fabulous start to the Back In Black album though, huh? Makes me shiver! |

I've heard that this "original version of BIB with Scott singing" is in fact a cover by another band. I stand by my belief that this, and the rest of the album was made as a tribute to Bon Scott, no matter how he died (do we really need cat fights about it??) and this song in particular is more about Brian Johnson's "induction" to the band and "Hells Bells" is more of a "goodbye" to Bon, although that's my personal interpretation! Whatever, I love this song to peices, a fabulous come back for the boys, and a great start to the new era of the band (although give me the Bon Scott days anyway!) |

| Ah, one of my favourite AC/DC songs, excellent Bon Scott stuff. A great live song too, what with the excellent riff, solo and the now routine chant of "ANGUS! ANGUS!" at the start of the song when played live! Pretty simple stuff though, Bon getting laid by Rosie is spot on, though AC/DC lyrics are never meant to be taking seriously (like the band themselves) so I wouldn't go counting on taking the measurements as exact figures... | |
