| B2K – Ante Up (Robbin Hoodz Theory) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Why the hell is this in B2K? I was looking up someone else and accidently clicked on B2K, and I see this M.O.P. classic. B2K was like 16 when this song came out, and there clearly isn't any singing on this shit. Move this to M.O.P.'s site. | |
| The Game – 300 Bars and Runnin Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The very first kid part at the beginning, it ends "Now I fuck with Game", not "Don't fuck with Game". The kid is saying after he heard the 50 Cent cd, he likes Game is this feud. And Game killed on this. He took out everyone in one fucking song. One of the greatest diss songs of all time, only behind 2Pac's "Hit Em Up", Jay-Z's "Takeover" and Nas's "Ether"; and that's some damn good company. | |
| Chamillionaire – Southern Takeover Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Great song. There is an error in the lyrics, but a small one. At the beginning, it is Killer Mike, not Pastor Troy, who says "Welcome to the New World Order. Atlanta, Georgia." and "The south is takin over." |

| Twista – Lavish Feat Pharell Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
That lyric basically means: "Everyone got dreams about keys (kilos of drugs) Chains full of ice with S after the V's (evissle brand chains) Horse on the hood, a grill full with the B's (bentley cars) Dangling your feet in San Turin-y breeze (vacationing in San Turin) Absolutely amazing song by the way. |
|
| Ne-Yo – Mirror Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
In verse two, it should be: "I understand that your not ready for me and my directing Your debut, featuring me but starring you" Meaning he wants to videotape them having sex, but he knows she's not ready for that. I kinda like the song. It's straight to the point. I am still amazed that this song didn't earn the CD an explicit content rating, but whatever. |

| Eminem – 8 Mile Freestyle Pt.II vs "Lotto" Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| There was a little bit of bad writing in this battle, cuz Lotto would actually win this battle if it was real. Em's verse wasn't that good compared to Lotto's. | |
| Puff Daddy – Come With Me (feat. Jimmy Page) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Jimmy Page actually went into the studio and re-recorded the music with Diddy, so it's not sampling. And stop comparing this to Kashmir, they are two completely different songs in completely different genres. You can't compare apples and oranges, even if they share one fucking thing. | |
| Timbaland – Way I Are Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| No, it is cheese, meaning cash. Great song, but I would love it to be longer as well. | |
| The Game – 360 Bars Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"Got the clipse on hold, but I ain't Pharrell" That is one tight ass line. "Who else kick knowlegde outside of Hova and the God Son" Glad to see him show some respect to Nas along with Hov. Jay seems to get all the love from the industry, when Nas is almost on the same level as him. That being said, he might just be doing that because 50 is beefing with Nas. But whatever, it was still cool. |
|
| Kanye West – Gold Digger (George Bush Remix) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Great song, I love it. it shouldn't be on Kanye's page, but I think Mr. West doesn't really mind as this goes right along with his views. | |
| Chamillionaire – Call Some Hoes Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I'm really suprised that o song that has the biggest star in hip-hop today, Kanye West, a very underrated Chamillionaire and the best rapper no one knows, Stat Quo on it has yet to get a comment. Great song and i hope they work together again in the future. | |
| Tupac Shakur – God Bless The Dead Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Great song. I'm pretty sure the ??? at the end of the song is Thug-Along | |
| David Banner – Play Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I'm not a fan of this song, but if you are, look up lyrics to Trick Dady's song "Jump On The Dick". Very similar songs, except David Banner is 10 times better than Trick | |
| Chamillionaire – I'm Da King Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
A couple errors in the lyrics here. The word is peon, not pee-on. Same thing with FREON And "You need to pimp-slap that sick PUPPET maker who controllin' you" not "You need to pimp-slap that sick pup and maker who controllin' you" Good song |
|
| Chamillionaire – I Mean That There Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Great song, but one of the lyrics is messed up. It is actually "Mess with Killa Mike, Ron Thomas STAT Quo down in Atlanta" not "Mess with Killa Mike, Ron Thomas that Quo down in Atlanta" | |
| The Game – The Documentary Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
the lyric is: I could finally put the shoes on Now that the rumors of Rakim and Cube gone He is talking about some rumors that Rakim and/or Ice Cube had signed on Aftermath Records |
|
| Busta Rhymes – Touch It Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| The original song is alright, but the remix with DMX, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo is sick. I'm not even a fan of Banks or Yayo either. | |
| Obie Trice – Shit Hits The Fan Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
^^^See above for my thoughts^^^ Well said |
|
| The Game – 200 Bars and Runnin Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song is not a diss on G-Unit. This was out before he released his album, which was way before he started beefin' with G-Unit. He disses Juelz Santana, Joe Budden, The Source, and Memphis Bleek in the song, but not G-Unit. | |
| Ne-Yo – Get Down Like That Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| If any one knows, who is the rapper on the remix? It is a bonus track at the end of the CD. I think its Ghostface, but I'm not sure. Good song. | |
| Jay-Z – Big Pimpin Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
dos anj: It is supposed to be "Till I need to beat they guts." I agree that this is one of the best beat I have ever heard, props to whoever the producer was. P.S. If you know the producer, please post it. I have the CD, but its missing the booklet with the credits. |
|
| 112 – My Mistakes Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Its pretty sad that one of their best songs has just one comment. this song is my favorite R&B song ever. | |
| Akon – Locked Up Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
to distortedsilence: Do you have any sense? If you don't like Akon, don't post about his songs. Since I heard the meaning of this song from Akon himself in a radio interview, I guess I should enlighten you. The entire song is a metaphor for being trapped in the ghetto/hood. The drug references were thrown in because that is the main"profession" in the ghetto/hood. And btw, what is a KNOBHEAD? To hasish: Those lyrics could be any drug, not just heroin. Any drug can be sold by the bag. And cocaine often comes in bricks, so that doesn't necessarily mean heroin. Great song and one of my favorites from Akon. |
