| I personally like the Goldfinger version of this song best, but I heard this one first. The WWIII meaning hit the nail on the head. | |

(Tell me!) Tell me; where is the love? In a careless creation When there’s no “above” There’s no justice Just a cause and no cure And a bounty of suffering It seems we all endure And what I’m frightened of Is that they call it “God’s love” I just recently got into Bad Religion, and the other day (before I heard this song) I was talking to this girl who is a die-hard christian that God can't be that great if he makes his creations go through things such as genocides ( I cited the one in Rwanda because she was talking about a recent trip to Africa), rape, molestation, etc. A few days later I listen to this song, espically the chorus, and I can't agree more. Anyway, I think that's what this song is about: People in the world suffer and go through all these terrible things, and call it "God's Love." |
