I'm not entirely sure, but I'd say its about suicide in some way. "Walk past my grave in the dark tonight, Saw the stone and the note you left for me, To answer your question I just had to leave, I just had to leave" He's obviously looking back on the life he had (walk past my grave in the dark tonight). He sees a stone holding a note that someone (a loved one) left for him, obviously asking why he left and took his own life. He responds with "I just had to leave" which is what most suicide victims or people severely depressed would say..they are so sad they don't know exactly what it is that is making them sad. "Don’t believe that its better when you leave everything behind, Don’t believe that the weather is perfect the day that you die, Don’t believe that the weather is perfect the day that you die" I'd say this message is saying that you should live your life as best you can because you don't know what you're in for when you die. |

| Question : does the album version of this song include the monologue? Because mine doesn't have it and I'd really like to hear it. | |
