I like this song it reminds me of Queen for some reason where it soars into the quickened bit. It's like the "patients" best memory of going to see the marching band and when he dies it's them that take him and it's cool that they say his memory will carry on and that "she's" watching over me" bit could be a refrance to their Grandma?! i have come from a great family and can't really say i understand what it is to not have a dad. i want to become a social worker to help youth who have basterd dads and stuff likt that. i hate dudes who can't take the responsability of taking care of his own kids. moms are what make the world go round but dad needs to be their as well. but you can understand the madden boyz pain in the song how they wish he was around and stuff so i luv it cuz it is a good "take" on a huge family problem. and it's from them it's not made up. |

I listened to this song over and over it brought images of a sky like on the begining of Wizard of Oz how it has that classic camera look and stuff. I find it pleasintly hauting and calming it cresendos so much I tingle all over Gerrard has great talent I wish I could sing like that dude. I wuv dis song it is like the song I sing in the shower among others. It is a tribute to the Way's Grandmother as discussed earlier and we all can intrepet it in alot of ways. This was the first MCR song I listened to. It blew me away I was in a libray and when it was over I just was in awe. I had no clue what it was saying but the whole thing about having to kill and it doesn't matter cuz their dead makes you feel so heavy and dark i luv that feeling. wether it's a vampire zombie or an abstract dead thing needing to die it's a hard thing to part someone you love. the song makes you rise and fall as the repeatingish guitar and the lyrical mealody get louder and softer. I love it it is full of great dynamics that touch those rarely discovered parts of emotion |
