she probably doesn't wash her hair because it's a symbol of her beauty... it's a reminder of why her father does what he does to her. i'm not sure what to make of these two lines: "The tea is on, the flame is blue" and "Did you get that coat from the principal?" why ask this? and why the principal and not someone else? and i'm wondering what the color blue is supposed to represent... it's mentioned twice. i guess it could just be her coldness, her numbness to the world. |

To the above poster, words&tricks - sure, you can love Jesus Christ and the things he preached and not believe he was the son of God, but does that make a lot of sense? If Jesus wasn't the son of God - which he himself claimed to be - then he was either crazy, or he was a liar, or he was, at the very least, terribly misguided. In any of those cases, is it really wise to believe anything such a man might say? How could you trust him? So really, you can't fully support the gospels and Jesus' teachings without believing he was who he said he was. |
