Does nobody think that this song has something to do with war rather than gossips/paparazzi? "Covered in Cowardice" sounds like it refers to the leaders that sit back and decide to start wars but would never be seen in a war zone! It sounds pretty political to me anyway "Loose lips may sink ships" and "beware the voice wihtout a face" could both have political meanings, and Billy Talent seem more concerned with politics than the gossips! |

I think that this song might be about someone who is due to get married, and his bride-to-be's parents think he is are amazing but he does not think that he is good enough for her. So he decides to drown himself rather than "fall into the arms of someone" (his partner), thus he is "disappearing in the fade" as in the darkness of a river or something. I think that the first verse is in a motel or somewhere similar, where the guy is staying the night before he plans to end his life. |
