Ahhhh! Nothing better than old Blindside! But I agree with Wheresyourhope. I think that's exactly what this song is about. I can also add that this person is not only proud, but scared of being in the 'light', because their sins will be exposed. |

I completely agree with the comment above. Well said! And the title of the song says it all. "Mouth Like a Magazine" It's about gossip, lies, and all that fun stuff, which eventually will come back to haunt you. Ta-da. |

He's missing her. It's midnight, and he just left a party. They're not separated. But they just had a fight. He's on his back, on top of his car, looking up at the sky, thinking about her. She's popular, and that's what he means by "entertaining" them. She was probably drunk, and did stupid things. Maybe that's why they had a fight. When he says 'have you been to a place like this', he wants her to be there with him. Just the two of them. Or maybe I'm completely wrong. |
