I agree with what everyone has said above me, and I remember the first time I ever heard this song I thought how sad it was. But it has quite a good effect on me personally. I've recently been through alot of bad relationships, and I found myself often bottling it all up inside me. And the last time I was down in the dumps after being dumped yet again, I was listening to this song, and all of a sudden I felt alot better. Because I think it's quite amazing to me that a child, who goes through something as profoundly disturbing as a divorce, can talk about it so openly. So I think the song has a little bit of hope, because despite the divorce, the child seems to understand, and he still has the mother. |
