OK I think that the part every1 is talking about "Stand here beside me baby in the crumbling walls" might mean something along the lines of just watching it all, the good and the bad of the past ( the thing he is going to burn in metaphor of the "place" ) burn down and the might have part in ruining their love or relashionship, like they both killed it or maybe they both knew it was done for in the begining, hence him saying "Im goona buy this place and watch it fall..." so instead of her sitting and mourning it all and trying to fix this broken, burning thing just sit back with him and watch it fall before them...really depressing but maybe thats the right interpretation along the lines? |
