yup! many songs are painful reminders for people! this song is about a kid who falls in love with his teacher, but obviously it wont work so he draws a picture of her to get his feelings out and keeps it, everytime he looks at it, its a reminder of the pain of loving someone and them not loving back! |

yes but nofx coverd it on the byo slpit series, though nofx basically speeded up rancids songs and added more riffs and changes, and rancid slowed down nofx's and made them simpiler(except the bass!) in my opinion nofx have always been great at doing covers ('spaghetti motel', 'last caress', 'vincent') as they seem to add a little of their own material to them and completly re work them, not just cover them straight off. |

this song is great!! off the 7 inch of the month, and supposidly being re recorded for wolves in wolves clothing! a song about jesus and how he isnt how everyone thinks he is i.e. "He looks and acts more like an indignant ice tea" "He wants to kick Mel Gibson's ass" - cos of the passion of christ film. "Some ecstasy a thin white line" - he is a junkie great song! though the bassline is the same notes as guitar plays on whats the matter with parents these days! damn fat mike! haha! |

no one seems to have commented on these 7 inch of the month songs! they are pretty good, but this whole 7 inch of the month is a money scam, why not make a godamn album! a song about friends are more important than money maybe, like greenday - popular, nofx - not as popular but have more friends. (like the lyrics in one way ticket to fuckneckville) fat mike can rite about a million song about the same subject and u dont realise its about the same things. though this whole anti-bush thing is pissing me off (tho he is an idiot) and then this whole anti-christian thing. they need to make an album like they used to! |

to me this sounds like its about some guy that loved a girl yet she did not love him back, and she was on a train, so he waited on the tracks in his car. "i recognised those bloodshot rear view mirror eyes as mine." - telling that he has lost sleep over her, and he saw his eyes in his car mirror while waiting on the track. "i almost drove away" - from the tracks? " but megan, i had a feeling that you would be on that train so i just waited there for you" - waited on the tracks for you "everyone was standing in a line between the landing and the stairs." - a crowd gathers at the smashed up car on the stairs that go over the railway to see the wreckage. thats my interpritation, i may have got it slightly if not completly wrong. also isnt the "better" part supposed to be "butter" |
