Actually, it dawned on me, and it's pretty obvious. It's about those who go off to war and are missed by their sons and daughters, friends and family, and in this case, I believe it's a tribute to them by Ed. It is true. We all walk the long road, life is not easy by any means, and our lives sometimes feel in vain, but they are not. Nothing is trivial, because it matters to someone. |

yellow_ledbetter, what the hell are you talking about? Many of the "icons"/"idols" of today did plenty to get where they are... and don't pretend you don't influence it. Take any music you listen to, or any movies you watch. It's in everything, and just because you don't watch or listen, or whtever, to something doesn't mean they didn't get there by doing anything easy. Don't be so simple minded. |
