wow...thats really cool about the jonathan edwards thing. that its a quote that they based this song off of. wow! anyways this song is amazing and i could probably analyze it for about an hour. "If god was on the radio i know he'd say to thee, love is spiders on the edge, and we're hanging by a thread, connected to the other end of this twisted frequency i've spun" along with what was said about that part being a quote.... i think that first of all we are the spiders. God is the thread....and the web is like our life kind of...its something that we create.."this twisted frequency i've spun" ....and the web was all started by just a single thread and even though we can choose how we "spin" our web(live our live and create it) when it comes down to it...its God that formed our life and God that keeps it together.He is the foundation. also..like the thread come from inside the spider...God lives inside of us. and if you think about it....without that thread..the spider would have no way to live....at all. i mean it could just crawl around all day. but without its web it would have no home. or way to get food. like without God our life would not be lived as intended.and in the end we would have nothing. i just think this song is beautiful |

ya..this song is confuzing.all like of them. and after reading stuff about the band and stuff i realized that its close to impossible to fully understand what is meant in the lyrics...at least alot of the time. because well.....he always says that lots of them are based on like dreams and weird stuff....and even though the song may have an altogether meaning....he likes to put them in really kind of mystifying ways.i think that with their lyrics...they want to make people think...and possibly develop their on veiws and emotions from the song |
