| The bit about "I hate the ending myself... alright scene" I think is quite sad, basically saying that the only good part of hisl ife was his childhood, or it could be interpreted to mean he enjoyed watching the replay of hsi birth, whic his kinda disturbing. "I ahte the ending" suggests it was a grim and painful death. | |

I first heard this song on Scrubs which was effective cos the storyline was that woman had died of a suspected overdose shortly after JD hadd avoided talking to here in a cafe, which supports the suicide idea. To me it's definately about the suicide of a friend, perhaps someone they had fallen out with, hence the "bitterness". The guy is really regretful saying he would have stayed up looking after them / talking to them if they had known the person was suicidal - thus saving their life. I think it's a great song, very sad and moving. |

This was the song that really got me into Blink-182, even though it was one of their last songs. I loved this song cos there was this guy at school who i liked big time and as his fav band was Blink I used to listen to this song all the time cos it basically was how i felt bout him. ANYWAY before i go into some lame-arsed rant I think that just shows that anyone can relate to this although I do think the intention was to be about a deceased lover: Don't waste your time on me you're already the voice inside my head (I miss you, miss you) I think here he's referring to her ghost haunting him, and saying she doessn't need to bother cos he already hears her voice. I'm in 2 minds about this song, I think it has a really nice sentiment, and simple lyrics about an innocent love, but on the other hand i think its seriosly cheesey : wish that you needed me, I wish that you knew when I said two sugars, actually I meant three. nice rhyming. basicali this song sounds like a cross between lily allen and sandi thom on tranqulizers. it's all heart no talent! |

| I think the song refers to lesbianism "Who looked like a girlfriend", only "looked" cos the "somebody" who told him isn't sure. The guy is disspointed because he was hoping they had achance together "breaking my back just to know your name"... but now he is ridculed as her sexuality is "not confidential"....
