| Queen – Killer Queen Lyrics

In a 1974 interview, Freddie said this: "It's about a high class call girl. I'm trying to say that classy people can be whores as well. That's what the song is about, though I'd prefer people to put their interpretation upon it - to read into it what they like." So, if you want to think it's about homosexuality or transvestites, or whatever, go right ahead. | Queen – Too Much Love Will Kill You Lyrics

After reading a lot of the postings on this site (for this and other Queen songs), it seems that a lot of people are saying that most of Made In Heaven was written long before Freddie's diagnosis and had nothing to do with that. It seems interesting, though, that almost every song on the album can be interpreted (even if only on a superficial level) as having to do with death and Freddie's own impending death. The whole CD makes me sad.
RIP Freddie Mercury |

| Queen – The Show Must Go On Lyrics

This song is so sad and heartbreaking, yet wonderfully inspirational at the same time. Although it's probably true what's been said about Brian writing this song about Freddie dying, it has a different meaning for me. i think that life is the show and no matter how much you're hurting inside and how awful it is you have to keep going. The first time I really listened to this was right after I tried to kill myself, so maybe that has a bit of an influence on how I interpret it. "I face it with a grin, I'm never giving in- ON WITH THE SHOW!"
RIP Freddie- you're a beautiful soul |

| Queen – My Life Has Been Saved Lyrics

I love love love this song. It's about being thankful for every minute of your life. People are dying all the time, millions and millions of them, and, thank God, my life has been saved.
I've listened to the song a bajillion times, though, and never heard that last bit about "I'm in no doubt..." up to the end of those lyrics listed there. |

I think this song is about a guy who's just been broken up with. He's about to go out on the town and do something stupid and he's asking his former lover to come home. |

| Queen – I Was Born To Love You Lyrics

It's about professing your love to someone. It's the "big gesture," trying to get this person to be with you, "Take a chance with me, let me romance with you," and then having them agree "I called in a dream and my dream's come true"
I love the "hahahahaha it's magic!.... what?" That's awesome :) |

I can definately relater to this song. A few months ago I was in a really dark place and I tried to kill myself, but my good friend actually saved m life. I started to fall and he caught me, expecting nothing in return. Friendship is a beautiful thing. It's a kind of magic :) |
