The beauty of the chorus is that he realizes that no matter how hard his life is, he must "give regards" to GOD, and live for GOD's will. and if succeds at that, it means he has saved his "fellow man" by spreading the word of GOD and giving them the oppertunity of recieving GOD's gift of Heaven. If he fails...well, at least he go's to heaven for having faith and giving GOD his "regards". |

Haven't you noticed most of the lyrics by RZA are on the topic (in its side too) of the 5% nation? Also, what you said is ignorant. If you are in the 5% nation, you belive that white people are the devil. You said that all the followers don't belive this.....but they do. Next time do some reserch before you make some lame ass coment and make a fool of your self. |

I don't know about you(alcyt) but I think it actually is kinda racist (to all races with a white discent) to say that the white man is the devil. It is quite foolish to think like this in any sort of a way. It can easly(and i mean EASLY) offend people. I know I sound prejuduce when I say that it is foolish to think like they do, but if you are a Christian or a person with good morals, you know its wrong & defanatly racist. I know that this is not the actual meaning that david had in mind. But does anyone find it ironic that while this song is the newest single david is being criticized by a lot of fans about his work, the band's work, touring(ozzfest), and of course all the things people "swear they heard david say in the live radio interviews"( Friggn' misquotes). If you listen to the song keeping this in mind it kinda makes sense. Of course we all know that this can't be the meaning because the song was written a while before Dabid started being criticized. |

Well, I guess i'm the only one who knows what this song is about here. The singer once had a dream that he was in a white area and everywhere he looked scenery appeared. it was all autumn.("kindly could you reevaluate autumns animated growth") He was with his mom, girlfriend and his best friend. They followed a path and and watched leaves fall. When his friend watched, the leaf shot in his throat. then his whole body burnt.("keep on fighting one from burning out his throat") they kept on going. when they got to the end of the path there were four pods to get out of the place and one was broken.(because his friend died). "Jacobs ladder" indicates that it is a dream because in the Bible Jacob climbs attempts to climb a ladder to heaven in his dream.
