it almost sounds like it, but to me i think sometimes she just feels like giving up on everything in her life but not necessarily herself. this is such an upbeat song but with such heavier lyrics; kind of ironic in a way!!? |

this is wonderful! it always cheers me up and is so upbeat. this could be about someone singing to that special person that they're waiting to love. this girl could be looking for someone specific or just in general too, in the line "could there one for me be?" this makes it true, but then for the rest of the song she seems to be speaking to one person so i'm really not sure. or maybe her man is in the navy, as she makes reference to that alot (unless it's just a metaphor). she used to know him and love him but he's been gone for so long that he is lost in her mind; maybe even gone for real. or, it's a kind of love from afar where she sees a guy and is just waiting for him to notice her..anyways whatever it could be i just love the feeling it is so happy! eleanor's voice is awesome. |

beautiful song and lyrics. i like how in some parts there are others singing with him. it kind of lends itself to the point he's making, that where he is, driving with somebody, there is no loneliness. i love that feeling, driving by yourself or with someone; especially at night..for me it can be kind of soothing |

i wonder what "the glance" really is?
i'm curious about this song, most of it doesn't make sense to me but it's just so carefree-ish and pretty that really, i guess it doesn't matter so much. it gives such a nice feeling. the background music reminds me of zero 7, sort of the electronica vibe :) |

yeah i think it's so beautiful! i love how there are so many layers to the song...how it gets so intense and then goes back to being gentle. when i first heard it i kept thinking it was going to end but when it actually did..it was perfect |

i think there might be more to this song than it may seem...it really reminds me of someone i know, just because the girl in the song doesn't seem to know who she is and she sort of needs someone to tell her that and to confirm that she's really there. she feels kind of confined inside her "poster" of a life. anyway that's my take on it...but i'm not totally sure does anyone else have ideas? |
