| Bruce Springsteen – Prove It All Night Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| See, I look at it very differently. I never thought it was about a guy in a committed relationship with a girl...I see it more like "Thunder Road" or "Born to Run." It's a girl he kinda likes, he just wants to get out, get away, "live and die" rather than wasting away. So he's trying to convince the girl to go along with him, because "there's nothing else that [they] can do." | |

This is a truly heartbreaking song. Perhaps the best break-up song that there is. "Whatever makes her happy, I won't stand in the way..." Anyone who's ever lost a love can relate to this song. It's an amazing song... |

| Bob Dylan – Visions of Johanna Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I just had a really rough breakup two weeks ago, with a girl who I had been with and loved with everything I had for 2 and a half years. I'm only 16. I always kind of wondered what this song is about. I have had it stuck in my head all day. I think the main idea is that Johanna is a love that he once had. The perfect love, the idealist love. But somehow, he lost her. Now there's Louise, who might be able to help him. He wishes he could love her, but the Visions of Johanna keep coming back to him... I know exactly what he means. |
