i think the song is about someone how is dying....a sort of exchange to let the person that she loves live, while she doesn't mind dying in his place. gosh, i don't know....i'm all confused with other peoples ideas as well |

i think that the "dry your eyes, cause soul mates never die" is sarcastic. like...it talks about how the hole in the sky is getting bigger and the government fucks us over....and how this whole world runs on an agenda of it's own.... and then when people want to cry about it...well, you don't have to cry about it silly...cause soul mates never die |

okay....this is my view\ like MGondry (is that you real name...it sounds like michel gondry) that jupiter was the surpreme god...of course he was....but i don't think this is about her talking to god...it's about her talking to a man; the biggest planet in her solar system....the one that has the greatest pull in her like that revolves around. "Sometimes I breath you in, and I know you know. And sometimes you take a swim, found your writing on my wall. Well if my hearts soaking wet, boy your boots can leave a mess." i think that part is where...when you are really sad and you take a deep breath you can't help but cry harder....as if...you breathe them in literally and they are still killing you...and how it hurts soo bad, and she can feel him writing against the walls inside her chest... beeautiful...it's only my interpretation becks |

this song, to me, is about the ex boyfriend, or whatever to her, and how in the end he turns as says he has another girl that is devoted to him, and how he doesn't need her anyway....and she's saying how she's silly to have loved or hung onto him for soo long beautiful way with the piano....the way the music and words take each other to a different place...beautiful |

| yeah...i think you're all right above me...i just think that the piano and her voice are used so well to compliment each other and the movement of the piece suggests deep sorrow | |

this was the first tori song i ever heard....like 7 years ago...and still a favourite. The most intriging part of the song is, or i think is....that i noticed no one else picked up on....was "You say I wanted you to be proud of me I always wanted that myself" that's her father saying that He always wanted her to be proud of him.... and her saying that she always wanted to be proud of her dad as well... beautiful tori |

you know...i think anti sheep is reading only what he wants to see in this to be honest. i think it's about society, sure, without a doubt....but not about troops! it's about us, all of us, the way that we are tied to this world and how it breaks us progressively..how it tears away our innocence and wings so that we can't even remember the way we looked at things when they were soo beautiful... plus, the potomac is a river...so somehow i think it's about someone she knew who was careless and free...and got tied down to something near that river....god, maybe |
