the only thing i can think of about this song is that it may be about someone cutting themselves or something self destructive... "The division bell is a bell that rings at a particular time, and shows the difference between reality & our dreams." who ever said this is correct and the bell ringing at the end of the song shows the end of the band. I guess that the bell rang for them and they saw that they were living a dream and they couldn't do it anymore. so this album basicly foretold the breakup of pink floyd. (i could also see this being related to young years) And that is the saddest part of it they broke up. i think they could have been doing it for at least another 3 years |
