| The Receiving End Of Sirens – Flee The Factory Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Where does Anthony Green sing in this song? I really want to know. Sweet song. I love when he says "flee the factory." The whole song is good, but I think there are better written songs by TREOS than this one. Still sweet. |

| Kill Your Idols – Empty Room Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| These guys seem to have pretty simple lyrics. Stuff I expect out of classmates to write that take Creative Writing as a blowoff class in high school. Some of the subject matter is pretty good though. Maybe I'm just being critical. | |
| A Static Lullaby – We Go To Eleven Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| All I can say is, "Kill Your Idols" was definately not taken from some anonymous band's name. I've heard that phrase many times before I'd ever heard of that band. So fuck off. The writing of this song is good enough. It makes more sense if it's read with some grammar to make it sound good in writing. Listen to the song? It's great. Intensity is there. The objective of the lyrics? Worthy. More than. What the fuck does the band you're talking about have on ASL? | |
| Interpol – Obstacle 1 Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Interpol writes some of the best lyrics. Not the five line songs plus a chorus, lather-rinse-repeat. There's some creativity here. My English teacher in 10th grade played this song for us. He is obsessed with Interpol, NiN, Radiohead, Dave Mathews Band, other bands I can't think of since this was a year ago. | |
| Thursday – The Lovesong Writer Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is written very well. It shows that the writer is looked upon as clever, intriguing, but he is alone in his interperitation of the songs. He looks at his writing differently than most people will ever look at words. Thursday is definately a solid choice for music and lyrics. Going to see them again, but this time with Circa Survive. Sorry guys, but I like Circa a bit more than Thursday. | |
| Billy Talent – The Navy Song Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
So, umm, why was this song labled as In The Fall? Just today I changed it in iTunes to The Navy Song; I suppose it automatically got named In The Fall. Any idea why? |

| Chiodos – There's No Penguins In Alaska Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Effin' sweet live. In fact, the only time I've really listened to them is live. Shame. Point though, they are just amazing. I know they played this at Warped. They were on the main stage! Probably going to be the biggest band to come out of Michigan for awhile. For those of you that are from their part of MI, think they're going to play at the Local anymore? If so, I'll see you there >.> | |
| The Mars Volta – Miranda, That Ghost Just Isn't Holy Anymore Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Anyone else wish they would, instead of making four song anthologies, make it one long song? I can't bring myself to listen to this CD nearly as much as Deloused, as good as Frances the Mute is. If the songs weren't split up, or there were more than four tracks not part of anthology, I might be able to listen to it a little more. It sounds dumb, but I'm usually randoming through playlists or genres or playing a whole CD, but it's genereally not this one. Makes me sad. | |
| Brand New – The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is pretty sweet. The names is great, it's refering to someone who had a good thing going, and all by himself, fucked it up. Lyrics are beautiful. | |
| Dry Cell – Body Crumbles Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Hmm. A good band that should have made it. Damn Warner Brothers. Believe me or not, but my father works with the father of the lead singer (Jeff). I've seen them live once, and witnessed a sound check. I have an autographed magazine that is obviously worthless now since it was defaced by a no-name, nonexistant band. Very sad, really. Jeff is a cool guy, and the only one in the band that wasn't a rich Cali. teen. Now he is a band named Punch doing some local gigs, just cover songs. |

| Linkin Park – Faint Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Linkin Park = sell out. They HAD an original sound, now it's plagued with horrible rap parts. I saw them live during Summer Sanitarium. They weren't good. And I was actually a fan at that time. Mudvayne and Metallica blew them away. Limp sucks all together. Deftones were pretty good, but the singer was trippin'. This was my favorite song by them at one point. But then I heard it on the radio. They had 5 or 6 singles off this album. I do NOT like hearing half a CD on the radio. Linkin Park is no longer cool. They've only put out 2 REAL CD's. They obviously have some problem with churning out new material. Remix CD's = pointless. Chester is a good singer, but I'd like if he offed half the members of his band. Shinoda SUCKS. No questions asked. Hahn (sp?) is definately fine. So axe the backup singer and a guitarist of choice, and fly with a new concept. DON'T RAP, FOR FUCKS SAKE. |
