I definitely think that this song is about a guy who has gone through his share of girls. He has this good girl friend who obviously has serious feelings for him but he's just never seen her like that. By the time he realizes that she is the one he wants, it may be too late. |

For me this song is about cheating. The girl cheated on him and he's having a hard time handling it. She wants to work it out so badly though. "Sit down, come round, I need you now. We’ll work it all out, together" I think he gets drunk..."Put back the car keys or someone's going to get hurt" and he could possibly be getting violent. "I’ve never seen you like this. You’re scaring me to death" and all the "smash" and stuff in the background....just my take on it. |

For me this song is about someone who is completely obsessed with some star. We've all had our celebrity crushes and it's just really intense for her. She can't accept that he has no idea who she is and probably never will. She wants so badly to be with him, it feels so right to her... "Don't only want to dream about you, cause a dream like this should never be this hard" She thinks about him all the time and it's painful to think that he might never know about her. It's a hard reality to face. |

Okay I know this is crazy, but I really think that this song could be interpreted to be about a gay guy.
